The 4th wave of Covid-19 pandemic in Vietnam is spreading heavily in many areas all over Vietnam. Since the first case was found in Yen Bai on April 27, the number of people who infected Covid-19 has increased rapidly and become the first variant with the strongest infection rate in the world appeared in Vietnam. Based on statistics and reports, Ho Chi Minh City, Binh Duong, Dong Nai and Long An are the areas that have the highest number of Covid-19 cases in Vietnam. Unfortunately, these provinces are the key economic region of the South of Vietnam with many large industrial parks and export processing zones. In addition, these provinces have the highest population because many people from other less developed provinces moved to these provinces for works. Therefore, it becomes a big challenge for local authorities and businesses to control and prevent the pandemic so it will not highly affected the country’s economic.
Accompany with the local government’s determination to get over the pandemic, the Board of Directors of Hanh Minh Thi Long An company practices the “3 On-Site” plan – eat, sleep and work at the company, to achieve the goals “remain economic development and prevent Covid-19 pandemic at the same time”.
The company’s Board of Directors always concerned about the life and work environment of the employees and workers while practicing “3 On-Site” plan. Therefore, Hanh Minh Thi arranged comfortable places which is large enough for all employees and workers to sleep, eat and other activities on their free time. After the Board of Directors made up the decision to practice “3 On-Site” plan, we allowed our employees and workers to choose either stay at home or proceed “3 On-Site”, and nearly two-thirds of employees and workers registered to perform “3 On-Site”. The company then organized a quick screening test before letting employees and workers move into the factory. After one week implementing “3 On-Site”, the company once again asked all the employees and workers to do a PCR test to ensure health safety within the company. Later than, the employees and workers who received negative test results will start living and working at the company to ensure that the production chain is always ready for the supply chain.
Moreover, the Board of Directors also registered to get Covid-19 vaccination for all workers and employees and ensure that every one will completed two required doses.
The Board of Directors and all employees, workers of Hanh Minh Thi company always keep high awareness to maintain the production chain which can meet the needs of customers, join the government in getting over with the pandemic, and contribute to the country’s economic development.
